Who we are

As the Founder and CEO of Fikr, Osama Hanif is the embodiment of the company's mission: empowering bold visionaries to craft legendary companies. His journey as a product leader and entrepreneur has always gravitated towards harnessing emerging technologies, resulting in the development of influential products and platforms for global users across seven diverse industries.

In the dynamic ecosystem of startups and global enterprises, Osama's passion for creating transformative products is evident. With a keen focus on strategic planning, an in-depth grasp of customer insights, and a relentless drive for execution, he consistently brings visionary ideas to fruition.

While at Microsoft, Osama steered the representation of diverse individuals within key products and services, notably M365 Copilot. This demanding role involved rigorous user research, intricate market analyses, innovative product ideation, and leadership of cross-functional teams. Throughout his expansive career, encompassing product strategy, new venture creation, and end-to-end product management, Osama has consistently championed the spirit of innovation.

His tenure as Director of Product at Kahoot! saw him amplify the brand's resonance among millennials and Gen Z, leading the company through a transformative phase of growth from 50 to over 650 employees. He also played a crucial role in two SaaS M&A ventures, focusing keenly on product and technical due diligence. His dedication to mentorship and fostering talent aligns perfectly with Fikr's ethos of nurturing audacious founders.

As Co-Founder and COO of the health tech startup Diffia, Osama demonstrated his versatile leadership skills, setting ambitious visions, assembling a formidable team, spearheading fundraising drives, and ensuring meticulous execution. His stint at Telenor, along with other ventures, underlines his deep-rooted commitment to nurturing audacious dreams and creating lasting impacts.

Holding a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, complemented by advanced studies at MIT, Osama is a staunch advocate of continuous learning and growth.

Now, at the helm of Fikr, Osama is resolutely committed to backing founders who are leveraging advancements in AI, mixed reality (AR/VR), and game design. His vast expertise in education, learning, game-based instruction, consumer SaaS, and product-led growth companies positions him uniquely to guide startups and scaleups on their journey.
